SENIOR PROPHECY January 1, 1959 Dear Mrs. Clampitt, Just back from my vacation and since I have had the pleasure of seeing all the class I decided to write and fill you in on what the old gang has accomplished. You'll simply never believe this, but as I boarded my plane in Chicago, heading for Denver, I was greeted by the pilot, Marvin Scotty we had quite a chat. Arriving in Denver, I decided wagon? to take the airport limosine up-town. Who was driving that That talkative Eugene Reeder! He told me that he had been married for quite some time, imagine that! At the hotel, as the bell hop proceeded to take me to my suite who did I see still hurrying about, Professor Adams. I didn't have a chance to say hello as he was rushing past so quickly. That evening I went to the Fabulous Bitzelrama Ballroom, under the management of none other than Carolyn Bitzel. Carolyn told me to be sure and stay for the fantastic floorshow, she also told me she had just billed the Golddust Glamour Girls of Hollywood for a two week engagement. Was I surprised! To my amazement who came out in two colored feathers but Karen Stouder and Carol Updike. Oh, was I shocked' Sitting near the front was a curious looking fellow in a checkered suit and dark glasses. It was Gilbert Boundy, the Glamour Girls manager. I returned to the Hotel very tired, so I turned on TV and tried t relax. The TV announcer was enterviewing the star of a kiddie show. Gracious, another surpriseg the star was Steve Hite. Not being able to afford transportation home, I decided to hitch- hike. I hadn't gone far when a diesel truck came roaring down the road and squealed to a stop. I jumped in and looked at the driver, it was Jay Rohrabaugh. We chatted for lunch so we decided to stop when we for quite a spell and then it was time and eat. Jay found a pizza place and went in, there was Wava Shipbaugh throwing pizza dough around. What a piz-za girl!! We continued our journey across country passing everything on the road. As Jay started around a truck I saw someone in the back, it was Ronnie Cox with his knap-sack on his back, getting a free ride. We were laughing so hard about Ronnie that we didn't hear the siren, but soon a state cop motioned us to the side. As he was coming toward us, Jay recognized him as Larry Zook. Classmate or no classmate we were hauled into court. As Jay was paying the fine, I turned to look at the judge. It was Ulrich Harte, but he had no sympathy for us either. Sometime later, we were approaching the big city of Huntington. There was a large crowd gathered on the street corner and David Kindley was standing right in the midst of the group campaigning for trustee of Lancaster Township. Glancing toward the curb, I was startled to notice Marilyn Thomas sitting there with her :ix little darlings. My, how cute they were! Home at last, and what a wonderful vacation! By the way, Mrs, Clampitt, I'm still playing drums with the Mt. Etna Combo. As ever, Kay Ann Gardner
