The Junior Leaders did a splendid job of enrolling the members for the year. Seventy-five members started their projects, but sixty-four completed with a total of one hundred nineteen completed projects. The club attempted to meet all the requirements for an honor club. One of these requirements was the organization of an advisory board comprising Mrs. Friedley, Mrs. Glass, Mrs. Heaston, Mrs. Jetmore, Mrs. Kellam, Mrs. Minton, and Mrs. Wilhelm. This committee was to aid in the forming of policies and general supervision when needed. Nancy Darland represented our club in the County Demonstration contest with her demonstration of Frozen Jam. She placed fourth. Three girls took part in the Judging contest of the county: Beverly Hoover who placed first in Baking, Sandra Gard who placed first in Food Preservation, and Carol Kay Friedley who placed fifth in Baking. Beverly placed ninth and Sandra placed fourth when they represented the county in the district contest at Wabash. A total of seven girls participated in the dress revues. In the senior revue were Roene Kellam, Susie Klepser, Sandra Gard, and Marcia Dolby, Susie and Sandra received revue pins for outstanding work. This will give them a chance to see the new, improved equipment, color combinations, arrangement of rooms, and feeding experiments.
