His manner transfers to the young minds before him the sense of reverence with which he regards the function of zygotes, of chromosomes, of genes. The ringing of the 3:50 bell signifies the end of the school day to many, but his car will be seen in the parking lot until 4:30, 5:00, and sometimes 5:30. Charles B.
