To discover LMS is to breathe in and out with her, grasp her spirit, then blend into the life of: Socializing at lockers before chapel- Long windy walks and talks- Discussions which begin over grub-laden trays and progress over empty trays- Soft whispers and shuffling papers in a stifling study hall- Lick of a sucker for a smudge of ice cream— Lengthy car rides home. This game of give-and-take is a two-way street— not ceasing with our exodus from the classroom, but wanting to persist throughout life. Education is association (not merely an accumulation of hard, cold facts), and life is brotherhood defining UNDERSTANDING THROUGH EXCHANGE. Pause for a proper introduction to the ranks of the coffee-sippers (some of the number profess to be teetotalers).
