I Am God 's Lamp My lamp's aglow For Thee, O God, Aglow with love like Thine, My lamp is Thy Possession so For Thee I'll ever shine. Once, bending low From heav'nly courts, You set my lamp ablazeg And Thou, the Brightly burning Lamp, Hast touched my living ways. O God, grant Thy Rekindling light To keep from burning low, My flame, alone, Starts flickering, With Thine, it stays aglow.

IN DEDICATION Men have touched the flame of youth with theirs and set them burning bright, and men, with lamps aglow, have known concern and guided youth to keep them burning. But especially to you, Brother H. Raymond Charles, whose influence has reached out to us, do we owe much. We admire you for the efliciency with which you handle your many duties and fulfill them. In church periodicals, we have recognized your name and read of your many activities with our mission program. We have watched you at work in the classroom, carefully chalking out notes on the chalkboard. You understood that youth is a time of decisions, of question marks, uncertainties, of character-building. Together, we explored the pages of our textbook, the Bible, discussing its implications for us, in today's world. You directed us in thought-provoking discussions, erasing many doubts from our minds, developing convictions. Brother H. Raymond Charles, for the contribution you are making to the church of today and of tomorrow, we, the class of 1965, dedicate our LAUREL WREATH to you.
