VVEAVER, AMos W. Route 1, Ronks, Pa. P1'z'ncz'pal, Bible Dear Brothers and Sistersin the Lord: Wie rejoice with you in having reached your goal of a high school education, a privilege missed by many. The further advantage of a Christian education is a trust from God who will require an accounting of it. Your use of this opportunity thus far is but the beginning of this accounting which will be completed when the Master calls you ho-me. You will often recall the pleasure of school days. I hope there will be happiness ahead for you. However, life is not to be measured so much by personal happiness as by the hap- piness we can bring to others in a way that honors our Lord who will add, then, an over- flowing bounty of His grace to us. Like a wealthy investor, you will carefully look about you for opportunities in consecrat- ed Christian service, where your capital assets of heritage, talents, and zeal may be invested. Many voices will call and glittering promises may be offered. You need to weigh them by God's voice within. The Hesh hears the call of the world, but the spirit hears God. Spirit- ual people mind the Spirit fRomans 814, 5j and follow the Good Shepherd Qjohn l0:27j. Though our farewell is with some regret, it is also with satisfaction that we give you, with your talents and Christian devotion, to the Lord and the church. STONER, CLYDE B. Route 4, Lancaster, Pa. Secretary-treasurer, Bookkeeping, Typing, Music To the Class of l955: YVithin the heart and mind of every person is a desire to be a success in life. Before you is a choice to dedicate your life in service to Christ and the church and the needs of man- kind or to dedicate your life in service to self. Wlien We try to direct our life Pattern and make it move in ways pleasing and satisfying to our own desires instead of humbly accepting God's plan for us, we find life empty and vain. Wfherever you go and whatever you find to do may you always find delight in the ways of the Lord, for He has promised in so doing to give you the desires of your heart. 15

Goon, NOAH G. Route 4, Lancaster, Pa. Dean, Cliemistiy, Physics, German, First Aid, Senior Adviser Dear Seniors of 1955: It is always a little hard to say what one feels should be said to a graduating class. It will not do to say, We are glad you are leav- ingfy That would not say it all and would call for some explanation. Neither could we say, K'VVe wish you would stay another year. In school staying on another year has unpleas- ant implications. But we are glad that you have successfully completed your four years of work so that it is possible for you to make plans for other important tasks in your life. We believe that you are coming to the end of your fourth year of high school with a de- gree of satisfaction, You feel that you have done your work well, you are eager to try something else. Most of you have heard the call to service and want to answer it. We wish for you the best that life has to offer in time and eternity. samwmv-im-sfzefwwcaimw i Y if --

The easiest way to make a duty or task difhcult is to put it olf until tomorrow. Brighten up the life of others and thus put a fresh shine on your own life. BRENNEMAN, HAROLD H. 123 North Academy Drive, Ephrata, Pa. English, Public Speaking, Stylus How big is your God? Big enough to outpull social pres- sures? Big enough to control you? Big enough to recommend to others? or, small enough to be ashamed of? BRUBAKER, J. LESTER QOn leave of ahsencej Money, popularity, pleasure-appealing little frills momen- tarily, but the presence of God in the heart is forever a Ujoy un- speakable and full of glory.
