DAWSON Superintendent of Schools TO THE CLASS OF 1965: To each member of the Class of '65-the Sixtieth Class to be graduated from Lancaster High School-I offer my heartiest congratulations and my very best Wishes. As you enter larger areas of living, in which your responsibilities will increase as your opportunities become broader, I trust that the sense of values which has sustained you thus far will cause you to become stronger in your dedication to constructive living, that you will find personal happiness as you serve God and Rightg that your associates, your community, the American nation and the entire world will be bet- ter because you were there. If the Lancaster Schools have contributed to making you a better individual, better able to grasp your opportunities and to continue your education, to make all places in which you may live better because you were there, we too shall feel successful, with justifiable pride shared by your families and your community. You will have fulfilled our reasons for being, our long-held purposes as a school: To help students learn to help themselves.
