Donald Bowman showed the Grand Champion Lamb and Randall Brooks exhibited the Grand Champion Female of the swine division. Berdon Byrun had the Grand Champion ewe and Brothers T. F. and Donald Cheshier exhibited the Reserve Champion Dairy Cow and Grand Champion Dairy Heifer. Orville Foiteck had the Reserve Grand Champion Doe. There were a total of forty-one ribbons taken by the Lancaster boys. The Greenhand Chapter Conduction Team won first place in the District meet held at Mesquite. Donald Cheshier, President, Stewart Butler, Vice-President, Jeff Roden, Treasurer, Gary Long, Reporter, Jackie Bordner, Sentinel, Howard McCalla, Secretary, and Jack Trammell, Advisor. James Brown won first place in the Dallas County Tractor Driving Contest and will soon compete in the Regional Contest. Four Lancaster boys showed at the Sears Show held at Kaufman. T. F. Cheshier had two first place Dairy Heifers and a second place Dairy Heifer. Jimmy Medford exhibited the third place female of the swine division, and Jimmy Knight showed the fourth place female of the swine division. Jerry Mahone had the fifth place fat lamb. The Ag Four boys turned out more completed proiects than any other year.
