This is just one insight to the social life of the students at L. H. S. The young people at L. H. S. attend many dances during the school year. from the sock hops to the gala formal proms of the upper classes. These various activities give students an opportunity to develop a social poise and contidence that prepares them for community leadership. We participate in five major inter-scholostic sports: football. basketball. baseball. golf. and track. In recent years Lancaster has received statewide recognition not only for the excellence of her teams but also for the tine sportsmanship exemplitied by players and tons. For this reason. we at L. H.
