CHORUS BACKS MUSICAL, Ll'L ABNER Acting as the base of the musical Li'l Abner, the chorus was busy most of the fall preparing for the performance in late October. It provided many of the main characters and all of the extras in the play. ln addition to its efforts in musical comedy, the chorus undertakes several formal concerts each year. 26

MEMBERS SERVE COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL The Future Homemakers of America is an organization which provides numerous op- portunities and experiences. Throughout the year they participate in various activities such as Christmas caroling and planning for the Sadie Hawkins dance. Each year one senior girl is recognized as the Homemaker of Tomorrow, by the presentation of the Betty Crocker Award. This year's award was presented to Pat Myott, who scored highest on the local level of a nation-wide test.

Throughout the year, the singers have provided entertainment for many audi- ences. Performances Were given at the Nursing Home and the County Home, as Well as several selections presented at the Cabaret. During the year they have attempted to provide high quality per- formances.
