MEMBERS SERVE COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL The Future Homemakers of America is an organization which provides numerous op- portunities and experiences. Throughout the year they participate in various activities such as Christmas caroling and planning for the Sadie Hawkins dance. Each year one senior girl is recognized as the Homemaker of Tomorrow, by the presentation of the Betty Crocker Award. This year's award was presented to Pat Myott, who scored highest on the local level of a nation-wide test.

FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA: HIGH FUTURE GOALS Our country's future food production is in excellent hands. Mr. Paul Oehrlein has said the goal that both he and his boys keep in view is to make the Lancaster FFA a superior chapter according to national standards. The boys learn new and better methods of farming which will yield more food to the acre and produce stronger live- stock. Awards are presented at the end of each year to the boys who have done an ex- ceptionally good job during the year. CHORUS BACKS MUSICAL, Ll'L ABNER Acting as the base of the musical Li'l Abner, the chorus was busy most of the fall preparing for the performance in late October. It provided many of the main characters and all of the extras in the play. ln addition to its efforts in musical comedy, the chorus undertakes several formal concerts each year. 26
