YEARBooK STAFF: TO CAPTURE AN ECHO ln the fall of the year, work was begun on a rough draft of the 1967 Golden Arrow. The financing, through the selling of advertisements and the books themselves, was under- taken in October. Also in October, the heads of each department of the yearbook staff attended a journalism conference at Platteville where new concepts and ideas were shared. With this background, the staff prepared to meet its first deadline. The need for pictures created a photography clubg for the first time, LHS took and developed its own pictures for the yearbook. Written accounts of the year's events and activities became a basic innovation along with the new plans and designs. Through the influence of a new publisher, additional pages, and a new format, we hope to have accurately presented a picture of the year now gone by.
