Broadway came to Lancaster this past fall in the form of the smash hit, Li'l Abner. lt required young actors and actresses with imagination and enthusi- ' asm, and Lancaster Senior High had just such stu- dents. Mammy was as stubborn and determined as Al Capp could ever want her. The portrayal of Daisy was sweet and loving in her chase after Abner, Whose only fault was his druthers. I-Ie presented a char- acter of carefree boyhood. The twittering, busy little personality of Marryin' Sam was forever running back and forth tying male to female.
