Lettermens Club-L Glee Club-3,4 Football In Class Play 3,4 Gerald Wilson FFA-1,2,3,4 Glee Club-3, Class Play 3,4 Class Hlstor On a sunny day of the bright year of 1951, twenty four young and innocent freshemn tiptoed through the halls of L H S Among our class members returning from the eighth grade we find the familiar faces of Betty Beck, Arnold Berkeland, Curtis Cedergren, Duane Coffield, Jack Coffield, Yvonne Davis, Dennis Glad, Ynrlene Glad, Gordon Hammerstrom, Donna Hawkyard, Elaine Haynes, James Jerome, Clari ce Larson, Darrelyn Lindstrom, Ralph Nordine Jerry Norman, Donald Schwenzfeier, Donie Uppman, Beverly Viereck, Roger Weberg and Gerald Wilson New class members were Vance Johnson, Allan Ray Quiner, and Gale Quiner Officers or our class were, President, Dennis Glad, Vice President, Yvonne Davis, Secretary, Elaine Haynes, Treasurer, Roger Weberg, and Student Council members, Darrelyn Lindstrom and Donie Uppman Our advisor was Miss Bjornson The main event of the year was, naturally, initiation At the beginning of our Sophomore year Vance Johnson, Allan Ray Quiner and Gale Quiner dropped out Initiating the Freshmen highlighted the events of the year In our Junior of other new ones Curtis Cedergren, Hallock and Donie year we again see some faces missing as well as the appearance Those who had left our class were Arnold Berkeland, Jerry Norman, Roger Weberg while Donna Hawkyard transferred to Uppman to the A C in Crookston Rita Wold joined our class We presented our play, The Skeleton Walks, under the direction of Mr Edwards In our fourth and final year we noticed that Donie Uppman had transferred back here again Later in the year Donie Uppman and Donald Schwenzfeier left school and joined the Armed Services We are looking forward to spring which will bring us to our class play, class trip, Junior Senior Prom and Benquet,Baccalaureate, and Commencement It is now July Lth, in 1965, at the Lancaster Hall, celebrate, at this Jive, the return of the Senior Class we see foot long hot dogs-and behold, who is she? She and comes toward us in her hot rod, stopping on a dime you are here, and what are you doing now, my dear? She Class Prophecy we all arrived, we are of 55 As we mingle notices us at the same Hello Elaine' We are answers, didn't you know? going to time , glad I'm a hot rod racer from Alvarado Just as we turn to go, someone slaps us on the back and yells-Hello' We turn to find, good old Jim We're sad to hear, he's still on a limb, he's taking a correspondence course, trying to pass chemistry by force As we stand around and talk, who, but Rita should come up the walk She is all excited and loving wife two sets of latest fad, in a dither, as she tells us where she's got her litter She is an ever and is very contented with life. She looks after George's and her twins Now Betty is coming in with the wind She, too, tells of her she is e model for 'Before and After Ads' At Cannon, we sure are proud to have Jack speak up loud He isn't one bit shy, in fact, we find him a little sly He is now in New York, a playboy, and brother, is he coy' 10 O 4.
