I II tl, . a s - 13 She wanted to introduce us to a very new star We couldn t guess who but we soon found out It was Darlene Olson without a doubt We were riding along when we ran out of gas But lucky for us a farmer did pass He mentioned to us about his good wife Jean And the dozen kids she had to keep clean The kids ran around in a wild goose chase And after them came Jean s maid Grace. She yelled Soups On and the kids soon came. They all sat down and we did the same. We re off again to see all the sights We came to Phoenix where we saw Marlene s name in lights. A Ballet Dancer was her profession She was very happy to have made this decision Then we went to Lake Hoden where we found Carol Sanner, She was enjoying herself and getting even tanner Carol was the owner of the Teepe Tonka Lodge And she also owned a snazzy new Dodge Our next stop was Texas which wasn t too near Betty Ann sure was busy she was roping a steer And while visiting wlth us she played her guitar And said people came to hear her from near and a We all went to church when Sunday came Among all the people we saw one familiar face It was Marlys with all her charm and grace After the service we had a nice chat And hours slipped by and there we still sat She told us that she was one of the Phy Ed teachers And really enjoyed training all the mean little creatures N X X That afternoon she was taking them to a tennis game And asked us if we wouldn t like to do the same. We hurried down to the tennis court There we saw players both tall and short. Everyone was cheering for their very best player Again a victory by Dennis' , announced the mayor To our surprise it was Gerald standing so stern and sedate He was now running for governor of the state We have traveled so far but the memories won t ade We ve seen our old friends and some new ones we ve made. We never knew our hearts could be so yearning Why did we decide to roam We're gonna take a sentimental journey Sentimental journey home Now our journey is through and we ve had lots of un That s why we all wish we had just begun But for your future we juniors want to wish you The best of luck to your class of 52 Carol Jean Hunter Arlyce Schwenzferer Barbara Peterson V Xx XXV ' . f , .
