Parent Teachers Association This year’s P.T.A. program was high- lighted by a September reception for the new superintendent and teachers, a talk on “Family Camping, one on Mental Health,” and an Exchange Student Pro- gram with speakers Marty, Elvie, and Erich. In November, the P.T.A. staged its annual pizza sale to raise funds for the yearly P.T.A. Scholarship awarded to a worthy LCSHS future teacher. This year, because of the combined efforts of members and students, there were enough profits for additional scholarships.

Kling Principal We, the class of 1963, feel that Mr. Kling is a friendly and hard working principal, who has given the dedi- cated service needed to efficiently run a modern senior high school. We especially commend his part this year in securing for us the new language lab, the introduc- tion of the Physical Fitness Program, and the spectator buses for home games. To Mr. Kling, we wish to ex- press our appreciation for his efforts in thus improving the curriculum and facilities of our school.
