Because of their willing help, many school events were that much more successful. Each year, their group sponsors a Scholarship Dance and donates two schol- arships to deserving students. Other activities included: serving refresh- ments at the School Dedication Ceremony and helping to make a success of our first Football Banquet. The Health Department is super- vised by Dr. Addesa and Mrs. Harriet Vasbinder, R. N. Audio and visual tests are given to all students annually and complete physicals given to seniors. Checking absences, caring for those who may become ill and treating injuries suffered during a school day are other necessary jobs in the operation of this def- partment. I2
