SQL .. fn-N SENIOR OFFICERS EDWARD KINNER, PRESIDENT JAMES KEGLER, VICE-PRESIDENT PENELOPE YOUNG, SECRETARY LAWRENCE SCHMITZ, TREASURER history In the great atomic era unfolding be- fore us, the motto of the Seniors, Ours is the world, takes on a more effective meaning. Scientists are gradually be- coming masters of our world. Perhaps one of our classmates will have some part in this great research that should build a better life for us all. To handle our class problems system- atically, we organized in our sophomore year under the guidance of Miss Henzler. Our officers were Paul Ezzo, president, James Kegler, vice-president, Karen Bellas, secretary, Carol Sada, treasurer. The class sold magazines and Christmas cards to boost the treasury. Our Sweet- heart Dance as well as our socials are now happy memories. In our iunior year the class was led by John Wrobbel, president, Francis Dal- conzo, vice-president, Penelope Young, secretary, and Alice Roll, treasurer. We chose our class colors, ink and charcoal grey, and our flower, the pink rose. Climaxing our year's events Queen Mar- ilyn Roll and King James Kegler reigned over the first annual Junior-Senior Ball. Now we have reached our final year, with the distinction of being that last Senior Class to walk these beloved halls. We worked under the leadership of our new adviser, Mr. Roaldi, and our officers Edward Kinner, president, James Kegler, vice-president, Penelope Young, secretary and Lawrence Schmitz, treasurer. We sponsored a successful yearbook patron drive, our third magazine and card sale, the Sadie Hawkins Dance, class socials and a Splash Party. We now anticipate the Senior Play, Arsenic and Old Lace, our last big ball, and a sad but wonderful finale -- graduation. Judi Wood, Penelope Young, '57
