Our officers for the sophomore year were: john java, presidentg Robert, Giza, vice presidentg Diane DeBacy, secretary: Joseph Palermo, treasurer. Our biggest success in ob- taining wampum was the annual Sophomore Hop . 13 VICE PRESIDENT Diane DeBacy TREASURE R john java We also held class socials to acquaint the class braves with their partners . Another step nearer our goal, our junior year, brought Diane DeBacy as president: Robert Giza, vice president: Lynne Wood, secretary, and Carol Anne Brown, Heasurer. We selected black and silver as our class colors and lily of the val ley as our class flower. We sponsored Sports Night, sold School Daze and had a successful magazine sale. Our plans for the next year in- cluded the combining of the juniorProm and Sen- ior Ball. When we reached the final lap of our trail, the senior year, we elected Robert Giza as pres- identg Diane DeBacy, vice president: Carol Anne Brown, secretary, and john java, treasurer. We sponsored a successful Sadie Hawkins Dance, class social and a splash party. We have now completed our drive for patrons and the final preparation of our yearbook. With our Senior Play and Senior Ball coming soon, we will work hard to make them a grand success . The'time we have all been waiting for is close, graduation. With the years at our fa- vorite tepee, L.H.S., behind us, the Class of 1956 can truthfully boast of its motto when we gather at future pow-wows, We are young, but the years have no monopoly on courage
