CLASS HISTORY 6[ ODAY, our motto, Моћ finished, just begun, '' means more than ever before. In this, our Senior year at Lancaster High School, we have only three more occasions to look forward to as our vearbook goes to press: our Senior Ball, to be held in the Masonic Temple on April 6; our Senior Plav, scheduled for April 27 and 28 --- and the memorable night of graduation, June 25. Looking backward, we can consider our card sale, our verv successful Sadie Hawkins Dav Dance, and our stationerv sale, all carried to completion under our capable class officers: Edward Berent, class president; Charles Covkendall, vice-president; Carroll Possehl, secretarv; and Shirlev Cassillo, our treasurer. Along with these projects were the Senior Social Nights which gave us manv pleasurable hours. From last year we wish to remember our Junior Prom, when Donald Lein and Beverly Brown reigned as king and queen. Nor can we forget the overwhelminglv successful candv sale at Easter, which went far to support the cost of this annual. Our Sophomore year recalls the Hop, the first of our Big Three Dances. '' In that year we made our studied choice of maroon and gold for class colors, with the vellow rose as our class flower. And now our faces are turned to the horizon, and our motto re-echoes in our ears, 'Not finished, just begun. '' Hugh W. Riplev Class of 1951 27
