CHARLES HERBERT Vice-President HAROLD SIMME ' Treasurer HISTGRY Harold Simme were crowned queen and king by fellow-contestants Rita Friedl and Lester Young. A memorable event of this year was our bas- ketball victory over Depew. The nMaroon Oraclen returned after a two-year absence under the co-editorship of two juniors. Finally September 1945 rolled around, and we were seniors at last. We had arrived! We elected George Frost, president, Charles Herbert, vice-presidentg Jean Mac David, secretaryg and Harold Simme, treasurer. This autumnbroughtour unbeaten football team which tied Depew for league championship. Our senior play, uJunior-Miss,n was acclaimed by all as the best school production in years. The n0raclen returned to its original appearance under Mr. Bigelow's supervision. Our two classmates remained as co-editors. The Senior Ball was the the social event of the year. Our graduation was the climax to the busiest, happiest years we have yet known. What the future will bring, we do not know. Many of us will be inducted into the armed forces and some will go on to college.
