Capping Finally, the long anticipated day had arrived- June l7, 1966. Sun-tanned andjubilant we arrived at Hensel Hall, at the end of our short, two weeks vacation. Pride swelled within us as we felt our caps being pinned upon our heads-pride in our ac- complishment, pride in our school, and pride in our profession. We had reached our first goal, the one that had been utmost in our minds throughout our long, difficult Freshman year. With renewed enthusiasm we could now strive toward our next goal-that of graduation. I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly- 'a To pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully.

Some will instantly recall the '6Pizza Plightn of their freshman year along with the satisfaction of com- plaint sessions after a full night of studying. Others could spontaneously give an exact account of each impromptu exercise session after monthly weight checks. Still others remember the Christ- mas parties with Jolly Old Saint Nick, the gang sliding down the stairs on blankets, the five thou- sand word essay, the water battles, and most of all snack time in the kitchen. On the other hand, many would like to forget the gloom of class- mates' unexpected departures. The memories of these two years will always linger in our minds, long after our paths diverge.
