In contrast to Fondersmith and the old Duke Street houses, with their peeling wallpaper and crumbling Walls, we now live in this artistic, modern dormitory, which has been our home since May of l967. lts spacious lobby, air-conditioned rooms, and convenient elevators have helped to effectuate one more step in ourjourney toward success in our profession. 'U Senior Year Finally, after much sweat, toil, and tears, 1 we arrived on the threshold of our senior year with eager expectation. We had wit- nessed the transition from old to new is housing, from a forty to thirty-two hour week, and from a traditional to 'Llevelsw program. Despite a fifty per cent attrition rate, the Class of l968 had survived. Pediatric, surgical, recovery room, clinic, rehabilatative, and emergency room nurs- ing filled our senior year with many reward- ing, and sometimes difficult, learning exper- iences.
