Her ready sense of humor and gay attitude make her a welcome addition to any group. Martin can well be called the Milton Berle of our class, for whether on duty, in the nurse's home, or even reciting in class, she has everyone in gales of laughter. Aside from her gaiety, Alta also possesses a deep sense of responsibility for those under her care. Generosity, sincerity, loyalty, and dependability are a few of the attributes which make Alta so well-liked by everyone. She enjoys gab sessions, telling jokes, days oi, and vacations. Of course, itls Betty! Her jovial personality has made her a fav- orite of many. Whe1'ever you find her you'll find fun, for she's usually the life of the party . Since she is gifted with a valuable sense of humor plus the spirit of thoughtfulness and sacri- fice, it is only natural that her bedside manner is tops. 'When you think of Betty you will recall two things-her pretty hair and those light blue eyes. Pat, our conniving class comedienne, and one of Jerry Lewis' close rivals, is the naughty nymph of the class of '52, If times seem dull and dis- couraging, chat with Pat and you will hear the amusing side of life. With her ready-to-go and carefree manner, the Unpredictablen will be found doing almost any- thing at any time. She has a knack for getting one out of bed at any time of day for nightj. Among Pat's pastimes are reading love com- ics , sleeping, and experimenting with new jokes. She's very sociable and quite a conversationalist- to the extent that one must fall asleep before she takes the hint to leave. Her love for good times prompts her into making any occasion turn out to be a rip-roaring event. In her more serious moments, Pat is a com- petent and dependable nurse, lending a helpful hand whenever she can. Fannie, the first of the Miller duo hailing from Ohio, has proven herself an asset to the class of '52. Her outstanding scholastic standing has received recognition upon many occasions. Besides this at- tainment she is also a very capable, efficient and dependable nurse. Generous, cheerful and optimistic, Fannie's cha- racteristic giggle can be heard through the many halls of 519 . She is one of the eager participants of the frequent discussions held there. Much of Fannie's off duty time is occupied with sewing, baby-sitting, reading, and hiking. When- ever a helping hand is needed in any class function, Fannie is always ready to give her assistance.
