fi- An early bus in 1937. C1911 MaSt6l'SOl1 One of our modern busses. Glen t'Doc Masterson had been driving a bus for 33 years. He re- tired at the end of the school year 1966-67 from the bus driving job. In 1918 Mr. Masterson drove a horse drawn hack for thirty days. He was a substitute driver until the year 1935. In 1935 he drove a Model T Ford gasoline bus. He came down the Lan- caster road to State Road 1 from the west. He went south one mile and turned east for his route. How would you like to come to school this way? 12

ixic and Beat Each year the Junior-Senior Mixed Chorus gives a program featuring either a minstrel show, a musical comedy, or a variety show. This spring the Chorus presented a minstrel show entitled, Dixie Land Beat. Mick Green was the star of the show represent- ing the Captain of a Dixie Showboat. Several endmen, including Don Yake, Dan Sch- wartz, Keith Baumgartner, Leon Gerber, Dale Krummen, Larry Geist, Dale Best, and Gary Blew, assisted the Captain. These endmen told jokesC??J, gave skits, and sang throughout the two-hour program. The entire chorus sang several numbers and special groups were also featured throughout the evening. KN.-J N
