EDITOR Marilyn Hasler As you browse through the pages of this book, one by one, the big glass doors of the Lancaster Central School Building will open. There before your eyes the life of the typical student at LHS shall unfold. Today ' s student is seeking answers, find- ing friendships, and developing maturity for his leadership in tomorrow ' s world. The 1961 REFLECTOR has been edited to give young and old alike a panoramic view of the curriculum and extracurricular activities at LHS . When the years begin to fade into the past, may these pictures stand as a symbol of the year 1960-61 you spent at Lancaster. As you linger over the pictures, let the memories steal back into your mind. Remember the classes you liked or disliked, the loyal and devoted classmates you haven ' t seen since graduation, those crazy things you did to irritate the teacher, and the teachers who unselfishly dedicated their time and effort striving to guide you on the path to higher education. The staff and I wish to thank everyone who so graciously helped to make this yearbook possible.
