There before your eyes the life of the typical student at LHS shall unfold. Today ' s student is seeking answers, find- ing friendships, and developing maturity for his leadership in tomorrow ' s world. The 1961 REFLECTOR has been edited to give young and old alike a panoramic view of the curriculum and extracurricular activities at LHS . When the years begin to fade into the past, may these pictures stand as a symbol of the year 1960-61 you spent at Lancaster. As you linger over the pictures, let the memories steal back into your mind. Remember the classes you liked or disliked, the loyal and devoted classmates you haven ' t seen since graduation, those crazy things you did to irritate the teacher, and the teachers who unselfishly dedicated their time and effort striving to guide you on the path to higher education. Lancaster ' s Student Council for 1960-61 consists of sixteen students. They represent their classmates in grades 7-12 inclusive plus the dif- ferent organizations which are prom- inent at Lancaster. As in previous years, the student council has had success in the projects and activities they supported . The Student Council was organized several years ago for the purpose of student participation in school govern- ment as well as to create a closer unity between students and faculty.
