CLASS HISTORY In the fall of '34 there were 35 students enrolled in the Freshman Class. The students enrolled Were: Virgine Berger, Marie Bender, Leah Bickel, Mary Ccssairt, Eugene Crumu, Harold Crozier, Wendell Diehl, Lulla Fiechtor, Melvin Fiechter, Merle Frauhiger, Rosa Frauhiger, Yilborne Carton, Robert Green, Florence Groh, Leon Hunt, Violet Houdyehell, Ruth Kiefer, Nina Krumnen, Roger Mhyor, Mary Meade, Betty Killer, Maxwell Mock, Rosanna Myers, Rey Reber, Irene Smith, Ray Shuts, Esther Snider, Harry Stahl, Agnes Strahm, Elzie Thenpson, Donald Tschannen, Homer Tschonnen, Ner William hasson, Mark Wright, Martha Zirklc. Robert Fuller and Leis H rtman entered during the year. Class Officers elected for the year were: President,'Lecn Hunt, Vice-President, Elzie Thcnpseng Secretiry-Treasurer, Donald Tschonnen, Two class parties Qere held during the year. ' ' At the close of the freshman year there were 33 students remaining. These who withdrew were: Mary Coseairt, Violet H udyshell,rEsther Snider ind Melvin Fiechter. The class of '38 was saddened by the death cf a cl.ssm,te, Harry Stahl. ht the beginning of the Sophomore yeir we had a total of'27'students. There were three entering nur class ani seven withgrawing. Those enterinL'our class were: Ruth Haber, Viviwn Magner ind Maxine Lydy. These withdrawing were Nine Krumnen, Honor Tschannen, Harold Crozier, Merle Freuhiier, Roy Reber, Mary Meade and Mark Wright. Robert Fuller withdrew on acceunt of sickness. The class was again sorry to hear of the death ef another classmate, Elzie Thompson. Class Cfficers were: President, Ray Shuts, Vice President, Ner William Hasseng Secretary-Treasurer, Irene Smith. - Beginning the junior yeir we hai a total cf 25 students, Jane Milhollgnd entered and Lulla Fiechter, Agnes Strohn and Viviun MQCHCF withdrew. The class officrrs were elected as fellows: President, Lgnald Tschnnneng Vice President, Marie Lender, SecretaryJIrensurer, Rosa Frauhiger. On November 5, l936 the Junier class presented the pliy entitled NA Ready Made Family.n Members cf the cist were: Ruth Kiefer, Betty Miller, Martha Zirklc, Irene Smith, Maxine Lydy, Lois Hartman, Bill Garten, Teniell Diehl, RcLer Meyer, and Robert Green. - The Juniors also entertained the Seniors gt 1 reception held at the Y. M. C, A. in Fort Mayne, after which 5 theater party was Liven. Then we rcturne3 tc school as Qiinifiei Seniors, we had a tctal of 23. New members entering were Helen Noble and Leonard Foster. Maxine Lydy, Rosa Frauhiger and Leis Hartman did net return. 3 Class Officers elected were: President, Roger Mayer, Vice President, Ner William Uassong SecretnryJTreesurer, Irene Smith. This year the Seniors are publishing a yearbook, this beinb the first published in the history of the school. One of the high points of the year was the trip to Chicago.
