Jn ' Dedication To Mr. Paul C. Wilt, we heartily dedicate the 1954 Ichthus as a means of expressing our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks for all that his life has meant to us. In his life, we have noticed a sincere desire and an intense concern for the spiritual growth of each individual student. We think of the many times he has exhorted us to walk close to the Lord and to abstain from fleshlv lusts which war against the soul. We certainly have appreciated his earnest desire to help us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a teacher, he has always made his classes very interesting and profitable. Through hjs ministry we have learned to know our Lord better and to understand His Word more fully. As acting President of the School while we were waiting upon the Lord for a President, we will always remember how faith¬ fully and patiently he bore the many burdens, duties and respon¬ sibilities placed upon his shoulders at that time. Above all, as a fellow sojourner and pilgrim whose citizen¬ ship is in heaven, he has given us a clear example showing us how to walk worthily of the calling wherewith we were called. c e ha PPy family. Published by the Senior Class Lancaster School of the Bible and School of Theology Lancaster, Pennsylvania L Foreword The Christian is described in various ways by the Word of God. Sometimes he is presented as a soldier, an athlete, husbandman or sojourner and pilgrim. For our theme for this yearbook we have decided to use the simile of a sojourner and pilgrim. We Christians are just traveling through this world; it is notour home. Our citizenship is in heaven. As sojourners and pilgrims traveling in the narrow way which leads to eternal life, we have passed through the valley of sacrifice, the mountaintop of victory, the tempestuous storm and through the still waters. Many and varied have been our experiences. Now as you browse through the pages of this year¬ book, you will see that phase of our journey which was spent at the Lancaster School of the Bible and School of Theology.
