DAVID HEYDT JEANETTE HEYDT Embedded within the inmost confines of my heart is that peace and joy of Christ which is unexplainable, and which only those of like precious faith can com¬ prehend. When this peace and joy is felt, how can the earnest desire of one’s life help but be that which is expressed in Galatians 2:20. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God. I praise the Lord for the joy of salvation which I have found in Him. Since my complete submission to Him, my personal desires have been taken from me, and He has placed within my heart the desire to do His will. This was accomplished when Galatians 2:20 was applied to my life. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God. ” DANIEL KLIM RICHARD HYATT Isaiah 54: 16,17; (R.V.) “Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringe’th forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.” After going to Bible School, I find there is much more to learn concerning God and His Word. I realize this is but the beginning, but by God’s grace I want to press on as the Apostle Paul states in Philippians 3:13-14. “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press towards the mark f or the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

MILLARD BEDWELL DONALD BURKHOLDER “My Lord and my God.” It is really wonderful for me to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and my God. I, like Thomas, have had proof that Jesus is my Lord and my God. Since my salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus, I have had the ex¬ perience of joy, peace and satisfaction that I knew nothing about. 1 thank God that He, through His great love, sent His Son Jesus Christ to die, that He might be my Lord and my God. I am thankful that God has called me to Bible School to learn more of His Word in preparation for His service. But the greatest calling God has given to me as a Christian is “to be conformed into the image of His Son.” This seems to be a hopeless task as I look at myself. But when I look “unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,” I know that the “power that worketh in us” is capable even of this. ERMA GOOD I am glad that 1 can say with the Apostle Paul, I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.” II Timothy 1:12b. While here at school, the Lord has taken me through many experiences which were all for His glory. The desire of my heart is found in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings being m ade conformable unto His death.” EDNA HARRIS I thank the Lord for being born again and having the Lord Jesus as my Saviour. I was converted at sixteen in a Methodist church which I attended from childhood. As time went on I felt a need in my life. Years later I heard the gospel as I had never heard it be¬ fore, and became filled with the Spirit for service to God. Then He led me to Lancaster School of the Bible where His Word has become precious, and my life is surrendered to His service. Psalms 27:1

BETTY McGONIGLE HERMAN MEYER “In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6. I do thank and praise the Lord for my salvation. I also thank and praise Him for leading me to this school where I have received so many rich spiritual lessons. To me the future is unknown, but I am trusting in my Saviour to lead and guide me. My chief desire is that in all things He might have the pre-eminence in my life. Ephesians 2:8,9. “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. It was a joyful day when I accepted Christ as my Saviour. There were many happy days since that time. I thank God for the way He is leading my life and for calling me to come to Bible School to prepare for His service. My desire is to live a life that will glorify Him. To Him be all the praise. MARGARET MUSSER These years in Bible School have been the happiest years of my life for during this time I have come to know my Lord more intimately and His Word has become more precious to me. His Word is so full of wonderful promises. I especially like Philippians 4:6,7. “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” DONALD PIERCE I praise the Lord for the salvation that is mine in Jesus Christ. I was saved about three and one half years ago. II Corinthians 5:17. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This verse then became a reality in my life. I also praise God for leading me here to Bible School that I may know Him better in the future.
