It is the only organization concerned with the government of the student body. It has many activities, both entertaining and educational. Some of these are spon- oring the individual student pictures, Homecoming Pep Rally and Dance, Christmas dance and party and last, but not least, the day when the seniors take over the classes and offices at school. Mr. Graham is to be congratulated on his fine work and tireless efforts in super- vising the organization. FORTY-ONE

President - - - Keith Kniss Vice-President Lawrence Hubbard Secretary - J o Ann Bares Treasurer Bennett Dambman Under the direction of Mr. Johnson, the Mixed Chorus participated in the Christ- mas Vespers and the Annual Spring Concert, which was held at Rock Falls. At the Christmas Vespers their mellow voices rang out with Shepherd Awake and Low How A Rose. Appearing at the spring contest, they sang Psalm 134, Cou1dn't Hear Nobody Pray and Innsbruck, I Now Must Leave Thee, which Won them sec- ond place. The following Madrigal group also appeared at the spring contest, bringing home a first place rating and earning a trip to the state contest. Mame Phillips' hotel was for sale. Miss Pryde bought the dilapidated inn only to end up in a hornetls nest of smugglers and counterfeiters. Under the direction of Miss Lois Clark, the senior class was able to produce this mystery farce in three acts. FORTY-TWO
