The chapter feels honored to have had the president of the district for two con- secutive years. When Joyce Bear retired from presidency of Section 22, Jo Ann Prins was elected to the chair to serve until 1952. Jo Ann will be sent to East Bay Camp at Bloomington free, Where she will receive instructions as to the type of work she is to do next year. Mrs. Russell Rahn who continues to give inspiration to our chapter is our honorary member. Mrs. Earl Bear is our Chapter Mother. , Other activities were square dancing, courtesy week, the serving of the Com- mercial Club dinner honoring the F. F. A. For themselves they held a Mother-Daughter potluck supper, inviting the eighth grade girls as their guests. Miss Ella Sue Beck should be given credit for the good work of this useful organ- ization. Each year the club sponsors an athletic show. Lanark Beaver shirts and scarves were sold by the club to make money for the miniature footballs which are worn with much pride by the grad- uating members. THIRTY-SIX
