Li'1 Badger is very pleased over the choice of Football Queen, Band Sweetheart, Maid of Paper, and F.H.A. King. The Football Queen and her attendant are chosen by the football team, and the Band Sweetheart and her attendant are chosen by a secret ballot of the band members. Both the Football Queen and Band Sweetheart receive a large bouquet and a big kiss on the football field before an important home game. . . A candi- date for Maid of Paper is chosen by each of the four classes of L.H. S. Li'1 Badger sup- ports his favorite candidate by buying a sub- scription to THE BADGER, our high school paper. The Maid of Paper is crowned by the student council president. . . The F, H. A. King is chosen by a popular vote from the F.H. A. members. Four L.H.S. boys are nominated by an F.H. A. committee, and the F.H.A. King is chosen from these four boys. He is crowned by the F.H.A. presi- dent in a special F.H. A. assembly during F.H.A. Week.
