SENIOR PROPH CY mation recently when a member, Raymond Tatman, announced that a former army buddy had discovered in the New Mexico deserts, a radio-active mirror which had gone. through the atom bomb tests. This mirror, it was discovered, had the very uniquef quality of reflecting events twenty years before their occurrence. This was veryg interesting news since the 19L8 graduates were very eager to know what the future' held in store for them. Through Raymond's influence an interview was arranged ands granted to a representative of the class who traveled to the West, viewed thisg remarkable phenomenon, and reported the following informatiaaconcerning the seniors of l9h8. V , The year is 1968. Various scenes are reflected from the mirror's surface. an oil-well driller enters the picture. It is Jim Miller, who has a record ofl never drilling a well which produces less than one hundred barrels per day. Heg is at home south of Lamont and seems to be getting along very well with his wife,' a former Madison girl. 5 Gene Fankhauser has put Lamont on the map. He now has a factory for buildingf genuine Fankhauser racing cars. He also is world-champion speed demon. Q speaks at all the cultural societies of Lamont on his many.experiences. T Sauder Lumber and Elevator Co. has grown to be a very large and thriving con-- cern. The corporation now covers twoblocks of Lamont and is headed by BDl Sauder, who has followed in his father's footsteps. He also has a large fleet of trucks. His wife, the former Doris Schwab, who kept the accounts of the firm for so manyw years, is now kept quite'busy with'their new set of twins. v The two spinsters of the senior class, Mary Winzeler and Phyllis Ott, are nowf well known for their travels abroad. They recently have arrived in New York from? Europe and will start econ on a tour of the various universities of the Uhitedg States. Their new book, vlnnide Argentina,W of which they are co-authors, wentg on the market early this year and is fast becoming a best seller. E Ray Luthi has taken Phog Allen's place as head of the K. U. basketball team. His teams have won several national championships during the past few years and: this year is no exception. They will play in the world olympics soon. Q If Lamont residents still listen no une 7:00 A. M. news on wrsw eacn,morn1ng,' they may tune in 15 minutes early and hear Joe Stair and his electric guitar. Hel is assisted by his wife who was formerly one of the Cackling Sisters of WIBW radiog fame . A Lee Blanck, after studying ten years under the great genius, Einstein, now isf head of the research on developing the new atomic cloud which has been proven more, powerful than the atomic bomb. He also has discovered many new mathematicalformu-, las. L Skeet Lawson has not yet settled down and is director of the chorus-girl line? of the Zeigfield Follies. He still plays the field and will accept any job con- nected with pretty girls. The world's champion typist now is none other than Raymond Evans. He has a- record of typing 350 words per minute. He gives allthe credit for his outstandingj achievements to the commerce department of L. H. S. where he got his start. J Each and everyone in the class has made a name for himself in one way or an-3 other, and all agree they owe their astounding success to their old Alma-Mater,Y L H S V H:-vfr-.-rv--Afv-v-vw1-v-g-rf-v-.ere-1me nv, ,f-.----,ef-1-.0 --- . --f--, V, I ,W , ,, The l9h8 seniors were very fortunate to come upon some highly secret infor-7 Next is seen a noted lecturer who is none other than Raymond Tatman.
