It was the first Blue Grass Conference Championship brought to Lamonl since its organization three years ago, The Demons whipped the defending Champion Bedford Bull- dogs 4O to O, a score typical of almost every one of their games. Only once were they ever threatened the game with Lenox played on Lenox's home field. The breaks went against the Demons, but they came through, like the calm experienced team that they were to off set 'lady lucku and win 7 toO White, a two year All Conference back, rang up a total of 140 points in eight games o rank second individual scorer in the state Another big spark plug in the Demon attack was Paul Loving, whose brilliant blocking and signal calling were largely re sponslble for the great success of this year's gridmen, Lamoni placed ten players on the two All Conference teams Besides the two mentioned above, Dick Green, Jack Downey, and B111 Allen, the only junior, won positions on the first All-Star selection, Too much credit cannot be given to coach M, A. MacAl11ster to whom a great deal of the teams success can be attributed.
