Our curriculum includes three units of Ifnglish. vvith Q fourth unit offered as an elective. Here Miss Bennie Speck. Mrs joyce lfutrell. Mrs. Mildred Follis. and Mrs. XX'illie Xlfilkinson consider a possible new text. Mrs. D. XX . Ogletree. head of the English Department. looks over some new books with Mrs. Vernon Bryant. librarian. ?ac11lfy ln addition to teaching their classes of English. three of our faculty teach other subjects. We found Mrs. Margaret Holder. Latin teacher. and Mrs. Suttle Purcell. Spanish teacher. lookin' at some material fo ' g r their language classes. vvhile Mrs. S. A. Dehnam. speech teacher. looked on. Our Mathematics Department makes it possible for any stu- dent vvith skill in this field to go on to higher forms of mathe- matics. such as trig and advanced algebra, Vile also have basic math courses which make it possible for every student to be mathematically literate. XX'e found Mrs. Anna Kittley, Mr. C. Raymond Jones. Mrs. jewel Fleming. head of the department. and Mr. Glenn Lewis chatting about nine weeks report cards and interrupted them long enough for a picture.
