PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION An active organization in guiding the activities of the year is the Parent-Teacher Associa- tion. This national organization seeks to promote high standards in the students' work in home. school, church, and community. To encourage capable students to enter the teaching profession, the P.T.A. awards an annual Future Teacher Scholarship. The 1957 scholarship was awarded to Miss Sandra Pratt. now a student at Texas Technological College. The high school P.T.A. is headed this year by Mrs. john Palmore, Backing her in the work of the local organization is a very capable staff of officers.
