J L .. . T 3 Q 3 li ,.. Yes, this is the graduating class of 1955! The cherubic faces seen here were destined to be- come the not-so-angelic guys and gals known as the Senior Class of Lamesa High School. Two early leaders were Joyce and Martha, A 4 who were to become Student Council Officers. During the first years of their education, Omalee and Linda Lou impressed their classmates with their stirring declamations. Carol, Nancy, and Mona learned their ABC's well with the inten- tion of becoming the fastest typists in L.H.S. Singing has always been fun for Marcella, Kay, Darlene, Rufine, and Rose, and that is why they are in the alto and soprano sections of A Cappella C 'r. In the first grade many students began t Jrelop certain interests which they still en- I : Glenn discovered airplanes, cowboy Norris liked food, John snapped pictures, and Jay be- gan to run drags, At Union Ernestine started young her career as a heartbreaker. The puzzled look on Kenneth's face proves that he was try- ing to solve one of the chemistry problems at which he is now so adept.
