In Sepfember, 1949, fhe Lamesa High School moved info a new sfrucfure which embodies many advanced ideas in color arrangemenf and consfrucfion. Consisfing of fwenfy-seven rooms, adequafely equipped, fhe modern edifice was begun in fhe summer of I948 by James T. Taylor, Inc., of Eorf Worfh, Texas, and was complefed in Sepfernber, l949. The building was formally dedicafed November l8, l949.
