Lambuth Recognizes Top Athletes Outstanding players in football, baseball, volleyball, basketball and tennis as well as volunteers who sup- ported the programs were honored at Lambuth ' s An- nual Athletic Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 17. Among the awards given were as follows: Most Valuable Player in football, Brad Garner; Most Valuable Player in baseball, Joey Lewis; Senior Award for volleyball, Lisa Lautenbach; Senior Award in men ' s basketball, Marc Moore; Scoring Award, All- Conference, and Female Athlete of the Year for basketball went to Angelia Godwin. The number one Tennis Player for the year went to Shan Johnson. Top: Coach Rushing tells about the hard work and dedication of the First Modern Era Football Team at Lambuth College. Bottom, left to right: Most Valuable Player for the ' 85 football season was Brad Garner and Phillip Tregoning was the Outstanding Offensive Player.
