Lambuth Is a Unique Community Although Lambuth College is an indepen- dent, four-year undergraduate college of liberal arts and sciences dedicated to academic excellence and moral growth and is committed to free inquiry, careful analysis, communication, responsibility and service to others and although some other colleges share many of these characteristics, Lam- buth is a uniquely different college com- munity because it is more than a learning in- stitution. It is a community filled with creative, original students and faculty members. It is a place where students sing along at the flagpole; a place where they watch the Eagle breakdance; where they create, produce, and enjoy reading all the school publications; and, yes, a place where they can stroll by a log cabin and get thrown into a duck pond! 6 Campus Activities

All-Sing Benefits Salvation Army On Sunday, February 16, at the Athletic Center, All-Sing, Lam- buth ' s annual musical extravaganza, spo nsored by the Interfrater- nity and Panhellenic Councils, raised about $500 to aid in a new emergency shelter for the Salvation Army. This musical program spotlighted seven talented groups which included the Black Student Union, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Phi Mu Fraternity for Women, Sigma Kappa Sorority, and Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, fraternities for men. Each group presented an eight to ten minute musical presentation with awards given to the Most Musical Women, Most Musical Men, Most Entertaining and Best Ail-Around Talent. Judging was based on in- tonation, musical quality, appearance, and entertainment. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority won all three awards in the women ' s division and Kappa Alpha Order won Best All-Around in the men ' s division. Other awards included the Annual Scholarship Award and Most Outstanding Greek Female and Male Awards. Phi Mu Frater- nity for Women won the scholarship award for the 12th consecutive semester. Gay Caro le Lester won the Female Greek Award and James Ramsey, the Male Greek Award. Master of ceremonies was Dr. Russell M. Mclntire, Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Center for Life and Work on campus. Top, left to right: With their nostalgic medley, the AOPis swept away the women ' s division awards. The Sig Eps are jammin ' at All Sing ' 86. Bottom, left to right: The Kappa Sigs are up to their usual antics. Dr. Mclntire, as master of ceremonies, pro- vides comic relief during All Sing. Slickers and bare feet set the stage for Phi Mus ' rainy day tunes. The KAs capture most musical men ' s per- formance. The Black Student Union inspires the audience with its renditions of negro spirituals. Sigma Kappa invites listeners to Come to the Cabaret. Campus Activities
