Spring Initiates Ed Phillips and Celeste Stroh sing of their love . . . but what about Sara? Celeste Stroh looks cheerfully out at the grim world of Barry Johnston. A dejected Barry Johnston wonders Why Me? ' as the whole cast stares in contempt. With a delightful combination of music and comedy, the Lambuth Theater ' s production THE AMOROUS FLEA was a prelude to spring ' s ac- tivities. An adaptation of Molier ' s School for Wives, this play focused on a doting old man, Arnolphe, and his scheme to educate his future bride, Agnes, in a shielded environment to leave her ignorant of the world. Once again the Lambuth Theater members, under the direction of Mr. Jesse Byrum, brought recognition to the school through their witty entertainment. Group Activities The crispness of spring is reflected in the gardens while floral patterns bring the special touch of spring into the home. «om sppwss: -— : „ W ' • ... A . Native Southern flowers displayed their magnificence in Vann Gardens and the members of the CAREERS CLUB displayed the latest fashions inside the newly decorated house during the lunch hour. This display of fashion was the perfect accent to the interior design and landscaping done by members of AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS on the fourteen acre estate. Members of both organizations devoted long hours in preparation for the event and are to be congratulated for their efforts. Larry Ray pauses for a quick breath.
