Interfraternity Council social and scholastic standards, and providing a forum for discussion on common topics, the Pan- hellenic Council functions well. Designed to administer and coordinate the gen- eral affairs of the men ' s fraternities, the Interfra- ternity Council promotes cooperation between the fraternities and the college administration, cooper- ation among the fraternities themselves, and pro- motes the aims and ideals of Lambuth College. Serving as bonds of unity among all Greeks on campus, the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Coun- cils supervised two special projects this past school year: Greek Rush activities during the fall — encouraging Greek affiliation — and Greek Philanthropic All-Sing during the spring. The coun- cils used the proceeds from this philanthropic ac- tivity to aid a selected charity. Above: Ed Phillips (Adviser), Mike Norman (Pres). With an emphasis on service, the Omega Omicron chapter of ALPHA OMICRON PI did much during the past year to support its national philanthropy, the Arthritis Foundation. In the fall, the members collected contributions in a door-to-door campaign and sold pie at an AOPi supper on campus. With the success of a raffle supported by community businesses, the sorority raised over $900 for this worthy charity. Besides the donations to the Arthritis Foundation, the chapter sponsored a little girl overseas through the Compassion Program. Above.
