Tornado Brings Destruction Last spring the Lambuth campus was a scene of destruction after two tor- nadoes struck Jackson in early April. The second tornado severely affected the campus, destroying trees and damaging buildings. The storm uprooted fifteen trees and damaged many more. In addition, the twister broke over 100 windows in Jones Hall. Most of the campus buildings suffered roof damage, in addition to water damage and air-conditioning damage. Top right: The tornado provides plenty of work for the maintenance workers. Above: The quadrangle appears calm after the early morning storm. Right: Uprooted trees became a familiar sight to Lambuth students. %wm. u» •STX ' - ' -- 20
