Colors of Nature Enhance Beauty of Campus Enhancing the college community ' s enjoyment of the Lambuth campus are the colorful changes that Nature brings with her seasonal variations. Stealthily creeping over the campus, Nature spreads the delicate shades of spring over the brilliant whiteness of winter and replaces the lush hues of summer with the myriad browns and golds of fall. With each transformation, the campus takes on a new look, and the students respond with a host of new activities. • i r -

Audience Participates in Murder Trial Drama Under the direction of Newton Neely, the Lambuth Theatre pres- ented an unusual drama in March of 1974, The Night of January 16th. A suspenseful murder trial by Ayn Rand, it included 12 mem- bers of the audience as the jury whose verdict determined the end- ing of the play. Until the jury fore- man ' s pronouncement of the ver- dict, the cast members had no idea which ending would be performed. During the five-night run of the production, one jury found Karen Andre, performed by Marsha Cole- man of Jackson, guilty of the mur- der of her lover Bjorn Faulkner, and four juries judged her not guilty.
