To Dr. James E. Hull Dr. and Mrs. Hull with (from left) Alan, Ricky, and Tim. We, the graduating class of 1963, dedicate the LANTERN. Dr. Hull has been teaching at Lambuth for three years. During this time, his vitality, his in- tensity, and his high academic achievements have served to show that his ideals for students are the same as the ideals of the College for students. The rapid recognition of his abilities and interests by the Administration and student body are evidence of his dedication to the ideals of the College and of his concern for students as individuals. Dr. Hull also shows an understanding and ap- preciation of the contributions of the past to the present. He demonstrates an enlightened confi- dence in man ' s creativity through the power of God in his life. He is concerned to teach these insights and truths to his students: that they com- mit themselves to an adequate Christian faith. That Dr. Hull has succeeded is shown by the respect and appreciation given him by the student body. Aware of the past achievements and failures of Lambuth, but also aware of the potentialities of Lambuth for the future, Dr. Hull, living wholly in the present, is worthy of being one of the primary manipulators of the Kaleido- scope that is Lambuth..
