Flying Club The purpose of the Lamar Tech Flying Club is to promote safe aviation at a lower cost to pilots through the formation of a non-profit organization. Members include students and townspeople. Sponsors are Lamar faculty members Gordon D. Cole and Dr. Sterling C. Crim. The group was organized locally in April of 1966.
