The Baptist Student Union seeks to conduct and promote a spiritual, cultural, educational, and recreational program tor Baptist youth and any other interested students of Lamar. The Center has been provided by Texas Baptists for the enjoyment of students. Financial support of churches in the immediate area provides a continuing program. The program includes daily devotional services before class each morning, special emphasis weeks featuring off-campus speakers, retreats, and two stu- dent conventions. DEPT
