The Society for Advancement of Management was Founded in New York City in 1912 and was installed at Lamar Tech in 1957. The organization seeks to bring together executives in business and students preparing for a business career. It provides students with opportunities For planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of an organization. It seeks to promote the professional development of its members by its programs and by its business organizations.
