The objectives of the or- ganization include the promoting of college loyalty and the advancing of a spirit of service and fellowship among college women, and recognizing and encouraging leadership. Its Delta Beta chapter was installed on the Lamar campus in the spring of 1960. The purpose of Eta Kappa Nu is stated in the preamble to its constitution: That those men in the profession of electrical engineering, who by their attainments in college or in practice, have manifested a deep interest and marked ability in their chosen life work, may be brought into closer union whereby mutual benefit may be derived.
